We, A Body of Fire Above Time

"Even as the world enters the cycle of great turbulence, I want to remember together, in the midst of all that is trembling and shaking, who we are together."

by Yujin Park

Very good to be with all of you. I am back in Colorado from Korea for two and a half months. Today is Easter Sunday. This is a day that marks a crucial moment of victory in the history of humanity. But as we know, such victories are only truly meaningful as we magnify them ourselves.

Probably all of you are also quite aware that we are at a very important threshold moment in history. Large shifts are taking place externally. But beneath them, there are yet larger spiritual shifts taking place. Perhaps it’s the shattering of the old, in some ways ancient, in the human pattern of self-centeredness, so that the eternal may be born in this day. All of us are aware of the war in Iran, and probably some are wondering if the stock market is going to tank tomorrow, among other things, and whether gasoline will go up to $10. There are external events in motion. And there are yet deeper, more fundamental processes in motion that are the source and the driving power behind outer changes.

I want to read a very short summary from a service I offered five years ago on the theme of Harvest Leadership—two themes, harvest and leadership. We are in a time of historical harvest, and what is the leadership needed in it? We are aware that in the turbulence that the United States is experiencing, but also the world as a whole; there’s a process of harvesting going on. You could say a harvest of cycles sown, now brought for the accounts to be settled. When I gave the service five years ago, I thought that it was a bit early, and that what I was speaking about was to come in the days ahead. The days ahead are here now. Here is the summary:

The times of increasing turbulence that we may enter now, the surfacing of humanity’s collective pain, explosions of insanity, cascading crises, are not aberrations but rather the fulfillment of what Martin described as the shattering of the collective container of self-centeredness. As such, we may see the surfacing of massive depravity of character at times, and these are representations of what has been present in the subconscious through the eons. This is simultaneously a harvest of all that has been sown and the birth of a new cycle. At such times, leadership requires abandoning old habits of mental and emotional navigation, switching to divine navigation: full perceptive surrender, full alertness, and maximum flexibility in each moment. Our supreme task in this time is not individual attunement alone, although that is essential, but it is a collective Cosmic Lock:” conscious beings and leaders aligned together with source, providing guidance and the energies needed for those who will attune as pressures reach their maximum.

So, I ask your indulgence in reading my own words. It seemed the quickest way to get into the subject. I want to refer next to an Easter service by Grace Van Duzen that was posted a few days ago in the Great Cosmic Story blog. The title of that service, given afterwards, was, “A Body of Fire and Light.” This is a service that Grace gave at Sunrise Ranch in 2003. You may realize that when Grace gave that service in 2003, she was 91 years old. She passed away the next year. It’s possible that this was the last service she gave.

In it, she touches on the coming forth of a Body of fire and light. In part, she is referring to the coming forth of thetransfigured body of fire and light of the Master Jesus from the tomb—we call him our King, at times—the coming forth of his body of fire and light from the tomb. But in a way, more importantly, Grace was speaking about the coming forth of a collective body of fire and light. That’s us. A collective body of the Lord, of the King on Earth. And in it, she says: something to this effect: Man’s world built by manipulation and pollution on every level cannot be repaired, only consumed by Fire. The resurrection pattern requires not selective reform, but total burning in the Fire of Love, after which the new heaven and the new earth appear. And she says, this is as true personally as cosmically. Today, I want to go quite deeply into the topic of a collective body of Fire and Light and its coming forth.

All of us are very conscious of a key task for each of us on earth: the full remembering of who we are—our Divine Identity. One part of that is the remembering of divine identity individually. All of us here are very conscious of that. That’s why we are here together. It is the center of our lives: remembering and living the identity of who we truly are.And yet there is something in some ways more important, and perhaps more difficult—the task of remembering our collective Divine Identity. This can be more difficult because of the deeper pain yet around the loss of the experience of collective divine identity. Uranda spoke of this as the vast grief in the subconscious around which there is amnesia, something that Immanuel Velikovsky referred to from a different angle in his book Mankind in Amnesia. Part of theamnesia in humanity has to do with trauma and pain, but the deeper amnesia, the more central amnesia relates to our knowing of ourselves collectively as a brilliant noble body of fire and light.

Even as the world enters the cycle of great turbulence, I want to remember together, in the midst of all that is trembling and shaking, who we are together. A Body of fire and light that has been One Fire together from eternity! While our earth memories may have covered over that somewhat, WHO ARE WE if not a Body of fire and light, the light of Shekinah shining through our eyes, and the fire of Shekinah coming out of our nostrils together! Together a Body of fire and light. In a way, a Body of fire and light that stands above time, as well as in time. Above time, as in we have been eternally so together. And also, within time, as in here we are, with all the encumbrances of our human forms!

To remember within time, who we have always been out of time, above time, I think is the essential process that is in motion on earth today. The outer world events of shaking, to me, are mere precursors of the coming forth of the body of fire and light that Grace was speaking of in what may have been her final service.

In remembering this, I want to touch on some memories of it that we have together. One of them is the concert, “Home Among the Stars,” performed in the Sunrise Ranch Dome Chapel in the 1980s. Probably some of us were actually there. Some actually conducted it, others, like PenDell Pittman, sang in it, but many of us saw it through video afterwards. The memory of being fire: it was a rendition of the knowledge of being a body of fire and light together.

We have also had other moments when we experienced being a body of fire and light as a collective, particularly in various moments with Martin. These are probably very different moments for different ones of us. I remember moments that were unique for me when I experienced a body of fire and light together with Martin. These are moments in our personal lifetime. And then there are other moments that Uranda and Martin spoke about that were historical.

One is in the story of the Upper Room. After the Master left this world, soon after, the disciples were gathered in an Upper Room. And there was an outpouring of fire and light, and they experienced themselves as a body of fire and light. Uranda spoke of this as a very important moment in the collective experience and memory of humanity. Perhaps one of the most important moments of history when, you could say, the body of fire and light that was eternal and out of time, or above time, descended into time, into a body of people. Another moment was when Jesus emerged from the tomb. His body transmuted, perhaps you could say, into a body of fire and light.

Then I want to mention one more. And this relates to a poem that Uranda wrote in December 1936. Probably all of us have read it, but if you haven’t, I would encourage you to read it. It’s called “In the Motherland.” In a way, in that short poem, Uranda encapsulates the whole of the reality of who we are, have always been, and may be, together. Let me read the first few sentences from it and then one line later.

In the Motherland

“The world was aglow with a Golden Light; Gentle breezes blowing Carried fragrance of mystic flowers, And through the mellow Radiance There moved the forms of gods.”

The world was aglow with a golden light. And through the mellow radiance there moved the forms of gods. Who be they? Who be they? If not us, with our human forms lightened, probably a lot more than they are right now, but who be they, if not us, who moved in the mellow radiance?

This poem is a description of the most important event in the Motherland, as Uranda spoke of it, the most important ceremony in the Motherland that happened each annual cycle, where all gathered together to allow the fire of eternal being, collectively and individually, to reach the maximum point of incandescence that would close one cycle and then open another. A truly beautiful description, poetic, mystical, ethereal, but perhaps the deepest memory, genetic memory of light that we have on earth.

A few lines later he says, “The gathered hosts were points of Light Drawn to the point of burning Within the Altar Flame.” The gathered hosts were points of light drawn to the point of burning. Did we not have some of this experience with Martin at times? Points of light drawn together to a point of burning. But perhaps more important than whatever experience we might have had with Martin, or in whatever configurations, perhaps this reaches back to what we have always been, are capable of, and are meant to do today. Being a Body of fire, drawn together to the point of burning within the Altar Flame.

Lastly, I want to touch on another image that is quite familiar to us, from the last segment of the Book of Revelation that Uranda and Martin spoke of often. It is the image of the Holy City, New Jerusalem, descending from God out of heaven. Uranda spoke of this as divine consciousness descending out of heaven, out of God, into the earth. The Holy City descending implies that it wasn’t built, meaning that it is already there, already eternally present, now. Perhaps we can see that the Holy City, New Jerusalem, is another description of a Body of fire and Light above time.

I spoke another time about the dissolution of time, and increasingly I have that experience. Eckhart Tolle, in his book The Power of Now, speaks about how the human mind has descended into dense vibration, and particularly into the density of time, and that where we are meant to live is not in time, but in the eternal, where the power of now is. As I experience the dissolution of time, sometimes I find I awaken above time. Perhaps, this is an experience that is coming to more of us, in a time when the old densities break, and the eternal breaks through.

As I awaken, in a way, above time, I also see how I, in the One Identity, have descended into time at various points. Recently I found Meister Eckhart’s writings, a 13th century mystic who is a primary voice of western mysticism. When I read what he wrote, I could feel him and feel what he was feeling in his illumination. He spoke of the essential oneness of God and man. Well, how about that? In the 13th century! He used the word bullitio to describe the inner living quality of God, and by inference the inner divine quality of man in the true state. Bullitio means the boiling, seething, inner generative life of God. I realized he didn’t have the word radiation at the time. God is radiation, fire, Shekinah. He reached to describe in his words: bullitio, boiling, seething. As I meditated on this, I was aware that awake above time, the One I Am has descended into time at many points and descended into the consciousness of those who were available, and they were illumined and brought forth what they did.

I input Grace’s service into AI and asked it to find traces of such a body of fire and light, in time, with as close a purity of fire as she describes. The result was illuminating. It described traces when a body of fire and light had descended into time, into the consciousness of different ones and brought forth illumination, however partial or full that might have been. The One I Am, the One We Are, a body of fire and light above time, has descended into time as channels were available to do so.

Jesus spoke the words, “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” We can see in these words, their universal meaning applicable to us and to a Body of fire and light. If I, we, be lifted up, out of the density of time into the eternal fire that we are, we shall draw the responsive body of humanity unto us.

Probably all of you are aware of the story of the legend of Brigadoon, the Scottish village that presumably descends and appears for one day every 100 years. Maybe that’s a different description for a Body of fire and light that descends occasionally into form on earth. Some have spoken of Sunrise Ranch as where Brigadoon descended. How about we be the Body of fire and light, Brigadoon, descending now?

I want to make this statement, and I don’t make it personally. These are words to be owned and lived for each of us. “I, as Lord, walk in the whirlwind.” The Lord walks today in the center of the whirlwind of today’s unfolding. The Lord walks in the whirlwind, and is not disengaged, is fully engaged offering action as needed from the center of the whirlwind. Our Master did this 2,000 years ago in the fateful days as he walked as the Lord in the whirlwind. Might it be too much to say that this has been and is the task of Man, male and female—to be the Lord walking in the center of the whirlwind, fully engaged? This is and has been the task of man in the Motherland, today, always. And may it be that we can say we were not absent without leave, that we are fully present, engaged, letting the Lord walk in the whirlwind because we are here.

There’s a lineage of light, a body of fire that is both above time and in time. I want to speak briefly about something a bit lighter and delightful that has to do with the lineage of light not only above time, but in time and in the earth. I think probably some of you have wondered, will the lineage of light that we have been a part of, that we gave so much into, with Martin, continue—what will come of it? Will it LIVE in the earth?

I want to share with you about a next generation of the lineage of light, some of whom have been growing a little bit out of sight perhaps, both in the East and in the West. And I want to tell you of a specific event that is happening in four weeks. Twenty-four Korean servers are coming from Korea to Sunrise Ranch for two weeks. The theme of this visit is, “A Lineage of Light:  servers and guides of light coming together to magnify the light in this crucial time.”

The interesting thing about this is that these are not old-timers like you and me. These are the young ones. Mostare in their 30s, 40s and 50s. These individuals have substantial training and are deeply aware of the lineage of light and of Uranda and Martin. A good chunk of these 24 individuals studied The Book of Grace for two years, an-hour-and-a-half Zoom call every week for two years. And they were uplifted, transformed. They understood history, understood what happened on earth in a way that they had no idea of before. And so, these are ones who are coming, with a profound desire to connect into the substance of the body of fire and light, whatever is left of it, and magnify it with their own passion.

To do this I want to show a slideshow that they prepared to share with you and with Sunrise. (See attached Lineage of Light Korean Servers.pdf) By the way, I had nothing to do with the slideshow. They prepared it and wrote the foreword to it. The first slide is a photo of a large number of them together, and the next slide: “TO OUR BELOVED FRIENDS IN THE WEST!” That’s you! That’s us. Then the next slide is the foreword, all words written by them:

“We are delighted that Korean Emissaries will be visiting Sunrise Ranch in May for two weeks. Our first visit in over 20 years. We do so in building upon the lineage of light brought by Uranda and Martin and continued by many other noble servers. We are profoundly grateful to the selfless service of many who have gone before us and offer our visit, our love and service in magnification of that noble spirit.”

[After viewing slides]

I’m so delighted to share this with you. They are coming with a profound sense of gratitude, for the noble service of each and every one of you. They happen to be coming to Sunrise Ranch because it’s the concentrated place where something is present. But they’re coming not only to Sunrise Ranch, they’re coming to us, to you. To the body of fire and light still present on earth.

I want to close with this. There’s a next generation of leaders that has been emerging. And you see some of them in the Koreans, but it’s not only there. There’s a next generation of leaders at Sunrise Ranch. And while Sunrise Ranch has gone through tremendous challenges over the years and has continued, in spite of all of that, an essential spiritual fire has sustained. In and through that they have also grown a new generation of leaders.

So a key part of what will happen in these two weeks is that the new generation of leaders from Korea will be meeting the new generation at Sunrise. This will be their first time together—a momentous occasion. And it’s an opportunity for us, the spiritual elders, to bless the continuance of the lineage by these younger ones whose hearts are passionately devoted. They feel and know the significance of the work that was brought by Uranda, Martin, and is continuing now.

In a time in the future, when we are gone because of our age, they may be ones who continue a lineage of fire. And, at the external level—because of the cycle that the world is going into—they may face greater pressure than we are facing now. And when they face the greater pressure, how about if we have given them the best shot possible, because of what we have done, and do now. Let’s give them the best shot possible.

There are times in history when those who lived through it thought that all was lost. At the time of Job, if you read the story carefully, the extent of complete loss was total. At the time of Eli, when Samuel was young, there was another cycle when all seemed to be completely and devastatingly lost. At the time of Jesus and the Crucifixion, to the disciples, all was lost. They had little expectation of the events that overtook them. The unthinkable happened, and their hopes and world view collapsed. All seemed lost.

And if we, at times, touched into that sense of “all seems lost,” well, what happened with Job? What happened with Eli? And what happened at the time of Jesus? Through the point of the worst, a body of fire and light, broke through. The saying goes, “With God all things are possible.” We might add, the impossible takes just a little longer. Well, maybe that little longer has already passed. And the impossible is ready to be possible and is in fact happening now.

So, let us be fully engaged, not complacent—both through the fullness of our personal expressions, but also in the active blessing of the next generation that is emerging. Let’s give them the best shot possible.

It’s a deep delight to bring forward this lineage of a body of fire and light, eternally pulsing above time, descending into time as we open the way. Here it is, present now and pressing to come forth.

Yujin Pak: Thank you all. I want to close with a couple of things. Several of you will be joining the Koreans in sessions. John and Pamela Gray, Larry and Joyce Krantz, Suzanne Core, Sanford Baran and others. The Koreans are eagerly anticipating the time with you. I want to read again the last line of what they wrote. “We are profoundly grateful to the selfless service of many who have gone before us and offer our visit, our love and service in magnification of that noble spirit.” This is their love to each and every one of you.

And lastly, these words from In the Motherland:

“The gathered hosts were points of Light drawn to the point of burning within the Altar Flame.”

May we, in this day, be the points of Light drawn to a point of burning together within the Altar Flame, so that we may provide that light to all who seek and to the next generation to follow us.

(For those that might be interested, the poem “Celestial Wind” in toneoflife.org articulates some deeper personal dimensions of full remembering. “Just is the flaming harvest wind. Yet, as the wind is just, so is Man greater than the wind and the justice he now reaps…”)
