Very good to be with all of you. I am back in Colorado from Korea for two and a half months. Today is Easter Sunday. This is a day that marks a crucial moment of victory in the history of humanity. But as we know, such victories are only truly meaningful as we magnify them ourselves.

Probably all of you are also quite aware that we are at a very important threshold moment in history. Large shifts are taking place externally. But beneath them, there are yet larger spiritual shifts taking place. Perhaps it’s the shattering of the old, in some ways ancient, in the human pattern of self-centeredness, so that the eternal may be born in this day. All of us are aware of the war in Iran, and probably some are wondering if the stock market is going to tank tomorrow, among other things, and whether gasoline will go up to $10. There are external events in motion. And there are yet deeper, more fundamental processes in motion that are the source and the driving power behind outer changes.

There have been countless cycles of history stretching back as far as human beings can see that have been setting the conditions for the emergence of an experience that allows the light to shine. Our ability here—to the extent that we actually exercise it—did not just arise unaided. It is the fruit of a very particular thread of history stretching back centuries. This thread, woven by life, has sought to bring conscious awareness again into the field of human experience. You might think, observing this now, that it does not seem like much. But that would be too limited a view. There have been relatively few containers for the emergence of conscious Being. When they do arise, they carry immense power and far-ranging impact. Coming to see the significance of this radiant stance, and more, to actively participate in it, is one of the great tasks of this age.

This is our first Tone of Life Zoom gathering in the year 2026. It’s wonderful to be together at the start of this very auspicious new year. I was straining to find some significance to the date 2026 or the numbers 2, 0, 2, and 6. Here’s something: If you add these numbers up, they sum to 10. And if you sum those up, the one and the zero, it reduces to the number “one.” So there you have it: 2026 is the year where it’s recognized that everything is one!
